Julie Peterson

Julie Peterson is an independent mortgage broker based in Houston, Texas . Since 1999 Julie has served as broker and President of Vaughan Financial Mortgage Group, Inc. With over a decade in the mortgage industry, including previous positions in the financial services industry, Julie’s experience and expertise serve well in handling a wide range of client needs. She stays well informed on the latest regulations, trends and options.

Julie has a passion for helping people with their dream home or other mortgage lending services and specializes in “Tailoring Loans to fit Individual Needs.” And, she is dedicated to keeping the client informed, in every step of the process.

In addition to solid financial and mortgage experience, Julie holds a Communications/Mixed Media degree from the University of Houston, is a member of the Cy-Fair Women’s Network and the Northwest Business and Professional Women Chapter.

Julie lives in Northwest Houston with her husband and daughter. When not working she is very involved in her daughter’s ice skating and volunteers as a
“ Reading Relative” at her school.

John Peterson

John Peterson currently holds the title of Treasurer with Vaughan Financial Mortgage Group, Inc. and was instrumental in starting the company in 1999. John takes a hands-on approach to his business and maintains an active role in doing what he loves best, which is originating loans.

After graduating from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in Finance, John took his first job in the mortgage industry working for a few of the larger wholesale lenders. While there he held several key positions, gaining a thorough knowledge of underwriting, pricing, appraisals and closing. With is this knowledge and now several years of experience, John can focus on his sincere mission of “Tailoring Loans to fit Individual Needs.” Staying in continuous communication with his clients, he is able to guide them through the process, providing options and solutions to ensure successful transactions.

John has lived in the Cy-Fair area for approximately 15 years and is a member of the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the Ambassador Committee.
